In Bullhorn’s annual Recruiting Trends Report, we asked 167 North American IT recruiting pros which social media channels – if any – had produced candidates they had successfully placed.
LinkedIn was the winner, by a landslide, with 92 percent of respondents reporting they had successfully placed candidates found there. LinkedIn was also the most productive in terms of time spent: 97 percent of IT recruiters report using it; and 92 percent report finding strong candidates there. Other channels, like Facebook and Twitter, weren’t nearly as productive for finding candidates – though of course there are other reasons to use them.
What has your experience been? Have you had good luck finding strong candidates via Twitter, Facebook or Google+? Please share!
