Barry Hinckley

Co-founder and President

With over 20 years of entrepreneurial leadership experience and a passion for bringing people together, Barry Hinckley helped establish Bullhorn as the largest and fastest-growing On Demand front-office software provider in the staffing and recruiting industry.

As Bullhorn's president and the driving force behind Bullhorn's sales to more than 1,000 customers around the world, including some of the largest global staffing firms, Barry's work includes evangelizing the role and impact technology can have on the staffing and recruiting industry - an industry that is undergoing radical changes. Barry travels the country arming staffing firms with affordable, customizable On Demand integrated front-office software; his goal of creating the "global neural network of hiring" is becoming reality as hundreds of new companies begin leveraging Bullhorn every year to manage data and share information. Under Barry's leadership, Bullhorn has achieved year-over-year revenue growth, making Bullhorn one of the Boston Business Journal's "10 Fastest Growing Private Companies" in Massachusetts for three consecutive years. This is a feat only one other company has presently accomplished.

Prior to founding Bullhorn, Barry served in sales and leadership positions at GTE Internetworking (Formerly BBN Technologies), the nations first ISP, and BSB Digital Charts. In 1996, Barry built the nation's first online neighborhood community www.southend.org in Boston. The site received awards from Boston's Mayor Thomas Menino and Police Chief Paul Evans and was successfully replicated in Cleveland, Minneapolis, and Philadelphia. This site is still in operation today.

Recognized as one of Boston's "40 under 40" by the Boston Business Journal and a member of YPO, Barry is a board member of the Massachusetts Staffing Association. He also serves as the Massachusetts state director for www.fairtax.org.

Barry has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and is a graduate of Deerfield Academy.

A Maine native, Barry is an accomplished alpine skier. He also flies his own Piper Arrow and has formerly raced sailboats professionally for 10 years. Presently Barry enjoys playing squash and spending time with his family.
