London, 29 June 2009 – Bullhorn, the global leader in On Demand, front office staffing and recruiting software, today announced the appointment of Peter Linas as its UK sales director. Linas will work with company co-founder and president, Barry Hinckley to establish the global software brand’s presence in Britain and across Europe. His appointment follows the company’s recent UK launch, and first major contract win – engineering and construction recruiters Talascend, an MPS Global company.

Linas brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing leadership to Bullhorn’s UK operations.  He previously directed sales and alliances at iProfile, the leading provider of CV/resume outsourcing solutions, where he was responsible for building product development relationships, driving sales and revenues, and increasing market share through entrance to new markets and via organic customer growth.  Linas’ career also includes providing sales and marketing consultation to a variety of internet, Web 2.0, B2C and B2B/professional services firms.  His areas of expertise include building and managing successful teams, project management, evaluating business practices and infrastructure, product development and relationship management.

As a further sign of its growth, Bullhorn has appointed Nick Worswick, as vice president of global sales and business development. Nick will be working from the US headquarters in Boston.
