For more than 20 years, Bullhorn has been empowering the staffing and recruitment industry to put the world to work. Our software drives the entire lifecycle of the recruitment process, from sourcing to payroll, from sales to invoice. More than 10,000 companies around the world use Bullhorn to provide a modern candidate experience, to deliver flexibility and scale to meet customer challenges, and to transform businesses in order to compete and win in today’s changing staffing landscape. Headquartered in Boston, with offices across the globe, Bullhorn employs 1,000 people. The company has been founder-led since its inception in 1999 and is backed by Stone Point Capital, Insight Partners, and Genstar.

The story of the Bullhorn is a story about unlocking the power of people. The staffing industry fulfills a vital mission: to help people earn a living and support their families. And we feel passionately that technology can help companies to be more efficient and productive as they put the world to work. Originally launched as an online marketplace for freelance creative workers looking for contract work, founder, CEO, and original software architect Art Papas discovered that the system could be used to help staffing agencies run their businesses after meeting the owner of a staffing firm. Staffing businesses faced enormous challenges coordinating efforts to serve clients between remote branch office locations and Papas built a web-based Software-as-a-Service solution that allowed much greater collaboration between branches. Since that moment in the early 2000s, Bullhorn has been focused on delivering dynamic, flexible, and innovative solutions that solve the business challenges of its customers.

That deep passion for innovation and creating technical solutions that solve our customers’ greatest operational challenges drives the core of Bullhorn’s culture today. With an entrepreneurial approach to software design and deep dedication to customer service, Bullhorn leads the staffing software industry in automating the recruiting lifecycle from start to finish – from candidate onboarding to time collection, payroll, and billing – allowing sales and recruiting, operations, and finance to run as one team, delivering incredible candidate and customer experiences.

Our goal is to help our customers to stay agile, to anticipate and react to threats and opportunities posed by the competitive landscape, and to grow efficiently through automation and the human touch. We care about our employees, our communities, and our industry, and we also love creating innovative technology.

We are technologists; we are human beings; we are committed to helping our customers truly transform their businesses. We are Bullhorn.

We care deeply about our customers and the work they do, and we care about each other. We like our people the way we like our software: agile, reliable, innovative, intelligent, and fun. We strive to create a supportive atmosphere that meshes the very best parts of startup culture – the fast pace, driven talent, rapid iteration, and career growth – with the most refreshing parts of being at a tenured company – work/life balance, stability, competitive pay and benefits, and the resources to never have to slow down or be timid.
