Pay More Attention to Your Placed Candidates<\/b><\/h3>\n

You can\u2019t succeed in recruitment without <\/span>quality candidates<\/span><\/a>. But don\u2019t spend all of your time and resources on finding new candidates. Utilising the candidates you\u2019ve already placed can be just as valuable. In fact, placed candidates are the <\/span>number one source of referrals for new candidates<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Are you paying enough attention to your placed candidates? Only seven out of ten recruitment professionals say their candidates would rate their onboarding experience as good or excellent.<\/span><\/p>\n

The penalty for neglecting placed candidates can be severe: One fifth (22 percent) of recruitment agencies place less than 15 percent of candidates on their next assignment. One thing that makes a big difference to placed candidates? Frequent follow-up. So make sure to stay in touch even after an assignment ends. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Automate, Automate, Automate!<\/b><\/h3>\n

Are you spending time and resources on tasks you can easily automate? This year, automating and accelerating recruiting and placement processes rose on the list of priorities and business challenges in the recruiting realm. <\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, 40 percent of respondents aren\u2019t even using any automation for selection, screening, or candidate nurturing. Why is this important? Because automating some of these areas can provide precious time your staff can spend on higher value tasks like engaging with candidates and clients. <\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking for where to start, <\/span>onboarding<\/span><\/a> is a great place to begin because a lot of the tasks are already standardised and time-consuming. This year, try adopting automation technology for your low-value tasks and see how automation can strengthen your relationships with prospects. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ramp Up Your Texting Game<\/b><\/h3>\n

Searching for a way to step up the way you reach out to candidates? Look no further than your pocket. Recruitment agencies are increasingly using <\/span>texting<\/span> to communicate with candidates of all ages. Sixty-five percent of recruitment professionals turn to SMS messaging to reach out to candidates, and professionals predict to increase their use significantly in the new year. <\/span><\/p>\n

Communicating with your candidates at the touch of your fingertips can not only boost your access to them, but it can also help you better engage with them. Candidates are increasingly preferring SMS messaging over any other form of communication, so why not show your candidates you care by reaching out through a medium that\u2019s convenient for you both. <\/span><\/p>\n
