My introduction to the Staffing Industry was in 1991. I wish I could say that the economy was rockin\u2019 and rollin\u2019 at that time, but the fact is that unemployment averaged about 7.5% for almost 2 years. So what happened? The company that I joined was in IT Tech Staffing. We grew from 13 offices to 33 offices and over $100MM over the next 5 years! Wow, what a rocket ride. The years 2002 and 2003 were not so pretty either. Unemployment was over 6% most of that time. Remember the \u201cDot Bomb\u201d years? Some firms dived while some other firms thrived. <strong>Lesson Learned:<\/strong> Tough times don\u2019t last, but tough people do!
