De groei is breed gedragen, maar de verschillen tussen sectoren vertellen een scherper verhaal.<\/p>\n<p>De sector Professionals blijft veruit de grootste en groeit het sterkst in absolute aantallen: van 172.946 vacatures in april naar 211.915 in mei, een stijging van 22%. Jaar-op-jaar ligt dat 14% hoger dan in mei 2025. Ook Overheid &#038; publieke dienstverlening laat een opvallende stijging zien: 19% hoger dan een jaar geleden, en daarmee de sterkste jaar-op-jaar groeier van alle sectoren.<\/p>\n<p>Technologie is in absolute aantallen de kleinste sector met 6.614 openstaande vacatures, maar laat wel een jaar-op-jaar groei van 10% zien. De vraag naar technologisch talent trekt dus gestaag aan, ook al blijft het volume beperkt.<\/p>\n<p>Detailhandel &#038; horeca kent de sterkste maand-op-maand sprong met 38%, wat past bij het seizoenspatroon richting de zomer. Jaar-op-jaar ligt de sector echter 5% lager dan in mei 2025, net als Productie &#038; bouw (min 8%) en Gezondheidszorg (min 2%). Pragmatisme en aanpassingsvermogen in de middenmoot bevestigen dat beeld: oplossingen boven processen, en kunnen meebewegen in een veranderende omgeving.<\/p>\n<p>Dat vriendelijkheid de top tien haalt, zegt iets over de sectoren die de vraag domineren. Vraag naar gespecialiseerd talent overtreft het aanbod, en werkgevers betalen daar inmiddels duidelijk meer voor.<\/p>\n<p>Engineering (8,9%), kunst en media (9,4%) en installatie &#038; onderhoud (8,5%) laten een consistentere groei zien. Opvallend is de positie van kunst en media, wat wijst op een toenemende vraag naar creatief talent in een markt die steeds meer investeert in content en digitale beleving.<\/p>\n<p>Voor bureaus is dit een direct signaal om salarisadvies aan klanten te actualiseren.
