Een event voor klanten, relaties en partners van Connexys. Met trots kijken we terug op de mooie dag vol keynotes, breakouts en demo&#8217;s over vooral technologische ontwikkelingen in de recruitmentbranche.\u00a0Een volledig verslag van het event lees je <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/nl\/blog\/2017\/11\/co-for-it-17-experience-het-connexys-recruitment-event-van-het-jaar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hier<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens CO For It interviewden we een aantal bezoekers van het event, waaronder onze dagvoorzitter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/baswestland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bas Westland<\/a>. Bas was al voor de 2e keer dagvoorzitter op CO For It. Hij is een bekende persoon in de recruitmentbranche en mede-organisator van het jaarlijkse <a href=\"https:\/\/emerce.nl\/erecruitment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Emerce Erecruitment<\/a> event, waarvan Bullhorn overigens ook in 2018 sponsor is.<\/p>\n<p>We stelden Bas een aantal vragen over het event en zijn visie op interessante ontwikkelingen voor recruitment. De sprekers weten veel nieuwe invalshoeken te belichten en gaan goed in op verschillende ontwikkelingen binnen de recruitmentbranche.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Recruitment trends<\/span><\/h3>\n<div>Futurist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/tonybosma\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tony Bosma<\/a>\u00a0overdonderde met zijn keynote het publiek met alle verregaande technologische ontwikkelingen waarmee de recruitmentbranche de komende jaren te maken gaat krijgen. Bas: &#8220;Ik had Tony al eens mogen aanschouwen, maar hij heeft altijd weer nieuwe invalshoeken. De voornaamste boodschap die ik van zijn keynote heb meegekregen is het feit dat technologie een steeds grotere rol gaat spelen. Recruiters moeten oppassen om niet de\u00a0<em>personal touch<\/em> met kandidaten te verliezen. Recruiters kunnen technologie juist heel goed inzetten om het aantal vervelende, eentonige taken te verminderen waardoor zij tijd kunnen vrijmaken voor persoonlijk contact met de kandidaat.&#8221;<\/div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Het jobboard is dood?!<\/span><\/h3>\n<div>Ook over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/nl\/blog\/2017\/09\/recruitment-trends-vind-beste-kandidaten-war-for-talent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marc Staut<\/a> van De Persgroep was Westland zeer te spreken: &#8220;Ik vind het ontzettend dapper van Marc dat hij, als verantwoordelijke bij een uitgever van jobboards, zijn keynote opent met de zin &#8216;The jobboard is dead. Again?!&#8217;. De essentie van zijn verhaal was dat je wel een groot bereik kan hebben, maar dat dat niets waard is als je niet gericht te werk gaat. Wanneer je je bereik met data gaat combineren kun je een veel relevantere doelgroep bereiken. Het is natuurlijk veel slimmer om 300 personen te benaderen die exact in je doelgroep vallen dan 300.000 personen waarvan 95% zich afvraagt wat ze met je informatie moeten.&#8221;<\/div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">GDPR<\/span><\/h3>\n<div>Over de belangrijkste recruitment-onderwerpen voor 2018 is Westland duidelijk: &#8220;Ik vind persoonlijk de nieuwe privacywetgeving, de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/nl\/blog\/2017\/06\/general-data-protection-regulation-gdpr-avg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GDPR<\/a>, ontzettend belangrijk. Deze wetgeving gaat per mei 2018 van kracht. Bij mijn eigen bureau zijn we daar nu al intensief mee bezig: je moet nu al voorbereid zijn en er niet pas rond mei 2018 mee beginnen. Als je te laat <em>GDPR-ready <\/em>bent, kan dat fatale gevolgen hebben. Ik hoor ook van bijzonder weinig partijen dat ze er nu al mee bezig zijn, dus dat wordt zeker een aandachtspunt in 2018. Recentelijk vertelde een kandidaat zelfs dat wij de eerste zijn die haar over de nieuwe privacywetgeving informeerde.&#8221;<\/div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Personal touch<\/span><\/h3>\n<div>Een ander belangrijk thema is, volgens Westland, de personal touch, die door alle middelen om je wervingsproces effici\u00ebnter te maken in het gedrang komt. &#8220;Door alle tooling verliezen we het persoonlijke contact uit het oog, terwijl dit uiteindelijk toch de belangrijkste vorm van contact is. Daarom kijk ik naar tools die mij slimmer laten werven zonder dat dit ten koste gaat van de personal touch. Het laatste wat je moet willen is dat kandidaten het gevoel krijgen dat ze in een machine zijn beland.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Het laatste onderwerp dat door Westland wordt uitgelicht is de combinatie tussen recruitment en video. &#8220;Video en recruitment gaan onlosmakelijk met elkaar verbonden raken. Helaas zie ik vandaag de dag nog steeds enorm veel lappen tekst in advertenties. Hierin zijn dus nog heel veel stappen te zetten.&#8221;<\/div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Bullhorn Engage, Londen<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Het event vond plaats kort na de overname van Connexys in september &#8217;17 door Bullhorn, wereldwijd marktleider voor CRM recruitment software. Meer over de overname is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/nl\/blog\/2017\/09\/bullhorn-international-verwerft-connexys-om-haar-uitbreiding-naar-vasteland-van-europa-van-extra-impuls-te-voorzien\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hier<\/a> te lezen. Een volgende editie van CO For It zal plaatsvinden in een nieuw jasje: in de vorm van\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bullhornlive.bullhorn.com\/engage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bullhorn Engage<\/a>, dat op 11 en 12 september zal plaatsvinden in Londen.
