Veelgestelde vragen rondom AI en recruitment gaan over wat er momenteel al mogelijk is, en hoe experts verwachten dat AI zich zal ontwikkelen in de toekomst. Maar bovenal: wat betekenen deze ontwikkelingen voor recruiters of recruitmentbureaus?<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens Rotterdam Recruits gingen experts\u00a0Timo Meijrink, Anne Winters, en Francien Schouman &amp; Huib Langbroek op zoek naar antwoorden op deze en andere brandende vragen.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Magie<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Timo Meijrink, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/nl\/recruitment-oplossingen-bureaus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Recruitment Technology<\/a> Expert bij Bullhorn, beet het spits af met een presentatie waarin hij AI vergelijkt met magie. Voor hem staat magie voor buitengewone resultaten. Deze resultaten triggeren bij veel mensen nieuwsgierigheid om uit te vinden hoe dingen precies werken. Dagelijkse voorbeelden van AI die veel mensen nog steeds verwonderen zijn bijvoorbeeld spraakassistenten of robots.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Met Artificial Intelligence bereik je buitengewone resultaten met heel gewone acties.&#8221; &#8211; Timo Meijrink<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Spraakherkenning is in de laatste jaren drastisch verbeterd. De AI die achter deze technologie\u00ebn schuilgaat is (helaas) niet magisch. De AI is getraind. Als we kijken naar hoe AI technologie\u00ebn ontstaan, zien we dat ze gebaseerd zijn op twee componenten: \u2018feature extraction\u2019 en training. Feature extraction is simpelweg het extraheren van gegevens die een computer nodig heeft om een bepaalde actie te automatiseren. Vervolgens moeten computers getraind worden om deze gegevens zelfstandig te herkennen en correct te interpreteren.<\/p>\n<p><em>Natural language processing<\/em> en <em>natural language generation<\/em> zijn twee begrippen binnen AI die zeer relevant zullen worden binnen de recruitmentsector. Timo voorspelt dat deze twee technieken in de toekomst zullen zorgen dat vacatureteksten makkelijk gegenereerd kunnen worden door software.<\/p>\n<p>De keerzijde van deze technieken is de ethische kant. Timo stelt dat het ethische raakvlak ligt op het punt wanneer we niet meer kunnen onderscheiden of bepaalde taken door mensen uitgevoerd worden of door computers. Wat vinden we van de ethiek van natural language processing systemen die dit kunnen? En als we de zaak bekijken vanuit een journalistiek oogpunt: moet je vermelden dat een tekst automatisch gegenereerd is of niet?<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Rich data platforms<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Na Timo\u2019s algemene introductie over Artificial Intelligence in de recruitment sector, vertelt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/annewinters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anne Winters<\/a>, Big Data en AI expert en Business Developer van 8vance, ons meer over de impact van AI en big data op verschillende recruitment processen. De recruitmentsector verandert. Veel banen verdwijnen of veranderen steeds meer in flexibele en online jobs. Door deze ontwikkelingen ontstaan vaker mismatches tussen de job en de skills van de kandidaten. De centrale vraag die Anne stelt is: hoe gaan we om met deze snelle transformaties?<\/p>\n<p>De ultieme oplossing in deze flexibele arbeidsmarkt is volgens Anne het gebruik van rich data platforms.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Het combineren van rich data met machine learning software en geavanceerde algoritmes zal een systeem cre\u00ebren, dat in staat is om de beste match te detecteren.&#8221; &#8211; Anne Winters<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Rich data platforms kunnen worden vergeleken met virtual assistants die gebaseerd zijn op intelligente AI technieken. Rich data platforms bestaan uit marktdata over producten, services en gebruikersvoorkeuren in verschillende sectoren. Deze data wordt vervolgens gebruikt om met AI betere matches te maken tussen werkgevers en werkzoekenden. Volgens Anne zullen deze platformen onmisbaar worden in de toekomst van recruitment.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Stel jouw &#8216;hero&#8217; samen<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/francien-schouman-6721011\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Francien Schouman<\/a>\u00a0van Vector Executive Search en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/huib-langbroek-07529a42\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Huib Langbroek<\/a> van IamProgrez, sluiten af met een betoog over hoe AI in de toekomst recruitment stukken makkelijker kan maken. Grote bedrijven als bijvoorbeeld Coca-Cola krijgen duizenden sollicitanten op \u00e9\u00e9n vacature. Hoe ga je daar de ideale kandidaat uit selecteren?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Hoe gaan we een machine leren om teksten te interpreteren op een manier zoals wij mensen dat doen?&#8221; &#8211; Huib Langbroek<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Tegenwoordig worden \u2018soft skills\u2019 steeds belangrijker voor werkgevers. Aangezien het handmatig en persoonlijk interpreteren van CV\u2019s een ontzettend arbeidsintensieve taak is, worden technologie\u00ebn die dit kunnen overnemen steeds populairder. Francien en Huib borduren voort op Timo\u2019s verhaal door uit te leggen hoe zij op basis van assessments ingevuld door werknemers, een ideaal profiel kunnen opstellen (\u2018de hero\u2019) voor een bepaalde functie. Kandidaten die op deze functie solliciteren, leveren data die wordt gescreend door AI technologie\u00ebn in de software.
