{"id":63125,"date":"2019-12-12T03:00:12","date_gmt":"2019-12-12T03:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/uk\/?post_type=customer_blog&#038;p=63125"},"modified":"2019-12-17T02:12:49","modified_gmt":"2019-12-17T02:12:49","slug":"bullhorn-novo-lessons-learned-and-a-look-ahead","status":"publish","type":"customer_blog","link":"https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/uk\/customer-blog\/bullhorn-novo-lessons-learned-and-a-look-ahead\/","title":{"rendered":"Bullhorn Novo: Lessons Learned and a Look Ahead"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Back in 2017, Bullhorn Novo was unveiled as the next step for users of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/uk\/products\/applicant-tracking-system\/\">Bullhorn ATS &amp; CRM<\/a>. Novo was built as a means to revamp the ATS &amp; CRM experience and introduce new technologies to the platform. Novo introduced a number of improvements to the user experience and also various new ways for users to configure and customize their ATS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since the launch of Novo, we\u2019ve been working diligently to help our customers prepare for the move to the new platform. There have been some challenges in rolling out Novo to our customers, but after changes made in the past year, we\u2019ve been able to successfully bring Novo to a vast majority of our customers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As we close out 2019, let\u2019s take a look at how far we\u2019ve come since the Novo launch and the new directions we could go with the new platform.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Lessons learned<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When the initial rollouts began, there were challenges in moving customers over to the new experience. With the number of new developments on S-Release and the major changes to the user interface for Novo, it was difficult for many of our initial customers to transition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since then, we\u2019ve made strides to greatly improve the Novo rollout process. To start, we brought in new processes in partnership with our Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Professional Services teams to help us roll Novo out to our clients of all sizes. This process involved a strict evaluation of overall Novo readiness, as well as additional enablement for end-users using extensive training resources, in order to improve Novo preparedness. With this new process, our customers have been <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/uk\/customer-blog\/2019\/10\/strategic-planning-preparing-to-move-from-s-release-to-novo\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">better enabled to successfully prepare for their move to Novo<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New training resources have also been rolled out via the Bullhorn Learning Hub. The <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">S Release to Novo Upgrade<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> course was introduced to provide an end-to-end interactive walkthrough of the new features in Novo. This quick course makes it easier for users to get up to speed on the new Novo features, covering all of the major changes to expect on the new platform.<\/span><\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/12\/LHNovo.png\" alt=\"bullhorn novo\" width=\"1596\" height=\"934\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-63126 aligncenter\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/12\/LHNovo.png 1596w, https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/12\/LHNovo-768x449.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1596px) 100vw, 1596px\" \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With these new processes in place, we\u2019ve been able to help a majority of our customers move to Novo successfully.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Future of Bullhorn is on Novo<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The upgraded Novo platform opens up the opportunity for us to develop new technologies for the ATS, including AI. As such, the Bullhorn Development Team has been focusing on Novo as the destination for new features and enhancements going forward.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the best examples is Bullhorn One, a start-to-finish solution built to connect front- and back-office operations onto one platform.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><i>Locations<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the major enhancements built on Novo makes it easier to organize the various locations a client has, including multiple offices or worksites.<\/span><\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/12\/Novo2.png\" alt=\"bullhorn novo\" width=\"1600\" height=\"504\" class=\"size-full wp-image-63127 aligncenter\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/12\/Novo2.png 1600w, https:\/\/www.bullhorn.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/12\/Novo2-768x242.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Locations provide an even greater level of organization when managing addresses for new Companies, Jobs, and Placements, which ultimately reduces the likelihood of errors that can occur in tracking this information. The Locations feature allows users to save Locations to a Company record, with information flowing to Jobs and Placements.
