How to Correct Hard Bounced Emails Using Herefish<\/h3>\n

Follow these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Click\u00a0Add Automation,\u00a0<\/strong>select Candidate-Based, and name your automation. Click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Under Automation Enrollment, select Create New List, and name your list.\n

    1. Select ‘Always Updated’ under ‘Choose the type of list.’<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    2. Under List Settings, click the\u00a0Total number of candidates that match this search<\/strong>\u00a0drop-down and select ‘Has Activity’ and ‘Bounce’<\/strong>\n

      1. Add a dynamic date condition in the remaining fields, e.g. ‘Within Last 7 Days.’<\/li>\n
      2. You can differentiate between a hard bounce and a soft bounce. To specify hard bounce, select ‘Hard<\/strong>‘ under Bounce Type.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. Click Save\u00a0<\/strong>to return to the Automation Enrollment screen.<\/li>\n
      4. Click the plus sign under the Automation Enrollment box to\u00a0Add New Step <\/strong>and select Send Notification.<\/strong><\/li>\n
      5. Under ‘How often should this notification be sent,’ select\u00a0Immediate.\u00a0<\/strong>Then, select ‘From Template’ to create your notification.<\/li>\n
      6. \u00a0In your notification template, change any relevant settings to your preferred format. You may consider changing the merge tags used in the subject line or the information in the email body. Once the email is to your liking, click\u00a0Save.<\/strong> Click the arrow in the top left corner next to the subject line to return to the automation enrollment menu.<\/li>\n
      7. Click the plus sign under the Automation Enrollment box to\u00a0Add New Step <\/strong>and select End Automation.<\/strong><\/li>\n
      8. To ensure candidates who have\u00a0multiple<\/em> hard balances in their lifecycle trigger this notification each time, click Automation Settings<\/strong> in the top right-hand corner. Check the ‘Candidates can re-enter automation’ box and set the ‘No more than once every X days’ number to your preference. Click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
