Identify candidates in your system with a “Placed” status that are not currently working. Create an automation to set their status back to “Active” once they have completed that assignment, and they will now appear in your candidate searches. This ensures you have the most up-to-date data without hours of additional work.<\/p>\n

Use the steps below to create rules to find “Placed” status candidates that are not currently working for you, update their status, and improve your data quality and search results.<\/p>\n

Identity and Update Placed Candidates with Recruitment Automation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Follow these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Click ‘Add Automation’ and select ‘Candidate-based.’<\/li>\n
  2. Name your automation. Maybe something like “Placed Candidates No Longer Working.” Click Save.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Automation Enrollment will automatically open. Click ‘Create New List.’<\/li>\n
  4. Under List Settings, select ‘Always Updated’ as the type of list and then name your list.<\/li>\n
  5. Enter your search criteria using the dropdown under ‘Total number of candidates that match this search.’ Your search criteria should be:\n

    1. ‘Status’ is ‘Placed’<\/li>\n
    2. And <\/strong>‘Placement Status’ + ‘Is Not’ + ‘Approved’ + ‘Any Date’<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    3. Click Save<\/strong>\u00a0under List Settings, then click Save<\/strong> under Automation Enrollment.<\/li>\n
    4. Click the plus sign to add a new step to your automation. Select ‘Update Candidate’ and update the fields to ‘Set a field value’, ‘Candidate Status’, and set the new value as ‘Available’. Click Save.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    5. Click the plus sign and select ‘End Automation’.<\/li>\n
    6. Click ‘Automation Settings’ in the upper right corner.<\/li>\n
    7. Add a checkmark to the box next to ‘Candidates can re-enter automation’ and set the timeframe to\u00a0 ‘180 days’. This ensures candidates who fall into this list criteria in the future will still be updated accordingly.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
