There were 17% more open roles in healthcare this month, after two months of declines. And there were 16% more openings in retail and hospitality. A similar pattern was seen last July and is fairly typical of the summer season. The year-over-year comparison is more variable. Technology job openings have actually grown the most and are 6% ahead of where they were in July of 2025. And, in spite of a strong July, healthcare and retail are both down more than -10% compared to the same time last year.
