However, some executive search agencies outperformed the market by focusing on innovation and leveraging technology. Despite the challenges of 2023, 67% of agencies met or exceeded their revenue goals, showcasing the importance of innovation and proactive strategies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What did these agencies do differently?<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Data health<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: They maintained an emphasis on maintaining a healthy database.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Technology utilisation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Top agencies are leveraging automation and analytics for productivity and business insights.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Digital transformation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Leading agencies are committed to the digital transformation journey.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>AI experimentation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Top-performing agencies are actively exploring AI for routine tasks.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mateev stressed the importance of using AI effectively and ensuring data hygiene to achieve meaningful results. He also conducted a poll revealing that over half of the attendees already use AI to summarise candidate profiles, among other tasks.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>AI in executive search<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Just as executive search differs from traditional recruitment models, integrating AI in executive search should complement the high-touch, personalised service expected. As such, here\u2019s how Bullhorn is approaching AI when it comes to executive search.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>AI strategy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Combining core AI features with supporting updates to improve data quality and entry, ensuring accurate and useful AI outputs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Invenias AI assistant<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Introducing tools that enable consultants to create high-quality content without needing deep expertise in AI prompt engineering.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Data quality<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Emphasising the importance of accurate data to maximise the benefits of AI.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hopkins highlighted the necessity of maintaining high data standards and using AI to enhance, rather than replace, the human element. He demonstrated this with a practical example involving a fictional executive search consultant named Guy.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Real-world application: Guy and Thomas<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hopkins\u2019 example, based on real-life applications of Invenias and Bullhorn AI tools,\u00a0 illustrated the efficiency gains from using AI tools. Guy, short on time, used Invenias AI assistant to draft a personalised email quickly to Thomas. By clicking a single prompt, the AI assistant accessed Thomas&#8217;s CV and generated a contextually accurate email. This not only saved Guy significant time and effort but also ensured the communication was professional and tailored, leveraging AI to enhance productivity without sacrificing the personal touch.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>What\u2019s to come<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By focusing on data quality, leveraging advanced tools, and maintaining a human touch, executive search agencies can effectively harness AI to drive success.
