Increased productivity: According to Westcott, Fuse’s implementation of AI Assistant has streamlined workflows and made his team more productive. “The advantage of AI Assistant is that it helps eliminate procrastination. We’re using it to write job ads, create profiles, and improve process consistency. It prevents consultants from hesitating or delaying tasks by initiating and completing them on their behalf,” said Westcott.
AI Assistant also enables Fuse to market candidates directly to customers. “This process is now fully automated through AI, so it goes straight to marketing without consultants needing to get involved. It has eliminated an entire layer of administrative work for them,” said Westcott.
This has taken pressure off of Fuse’s consultants, allowing them to focus on more impactful work. “I believe we’ve freed up about eight to 10 hours a week for our consultants,” he added.
Enhanced data health: While still in early stages, the Fuse team has started to see the impact of AI Assistant on their data health.
“We’ve been using the AI to read and skill candidates. If candidates in the database aren’t already skilled, the AI analyses their profiles and assigns skills to the best of its ability,” said Westcott. “This has brought significant improvements in data health and increased efficiency.”
The team is also using prompts to help accurately pull in the right candidates for jobs. He explained, “Bullhorn already has a prompt that identifies the last company a candidate worked at. We then added a prompt to capture their last job title as well.”
“This allows users to quickly search by the last company and job title, streamlining the search process,” said Westcott. By leveraging AI-driven prompts and additional candidate data, the team is not only improving data accuracy but also matching the right candidates with the right opportunities faster and more efficiently. According to Westcott, “These small improvements make a big difference.”
