Record Number of Attendees, Recruiting Experts Gather to Discuss Best Practices at Bullhorn Live 2013

Bullhorn, the global leader in recruiting software, announced record-breaking attendance at its recent sold-out annual user conference, Bullhorn Live 2013, which took place May 20-22, 2013, in Boston. The conference, now in its fourth year, attracted more than 300 staffing and recruiting professionals from around the world.  Professionals from 145 companies gathered for two days of training, general sessions on the future of recruiting, and breakout sessions geared towards maximizing the benefits of Bullhorn products and growing revenue in 2013.

Following an evening of pre-conference workshops, Bullhorn CEO Art Papas commenced the first full day of sessions with his keynote address. Papas and the Bullhorn product management team provided the audience with an exclusive sneak peek into upcoming Bullhorn product features, including a streamlined new ATS/CRM interface for common recruiting tasks and an email integration update. The team also demoed improved functionality for Bullhorn Reach. All the features demoed during the keynote session were designed to save recruiters time and improve their speed and adoption by integrating Bullhorn with their daily work tasks.

During the keynote address, Papas also discussed the elements of a great enterprise software partnership, highlighting the importance of shared values between customer and vendor. He outlined the depth of Bullhorn’s technical performance, with the company handling 2 billion customer requests per month, 100 terabytes of data, and 1,500 clicks per second – all while maintaining 99.992% uptime over the past year.

“Nothing in technology stays still,” said Papas. “For a partnership to work, your vendor needs to be evolving, aligned, and healthy. Bullhorn is investing almost $20 million in evolving its support, services, R&D, and infrastructure in 2013. Our goals are aligned with those of our customers and we’re improving our products to address their changing needs. And our customers know that we’ve been around for 13 years but remain fast-growing, increasing our client count by 135% last year. We’re healthy and here for the long haul.”

Other conference highlights included sessions presented by Staffing Industry Analysts’ Andrew Karpie and recruitment experts Danny Sarch and Eric Jaquith.

A quarter of Bullhorn Live attendees this year were customers using Bullhorn’s MaxHire and Sendouts products, and Bullhorn was pleased to welcome them to the combined Bullhorn family. Bullhorn Live featured specific tracks for MaxHire and Sendouts users to ensure they gleaned the greatest value from the conference.  Many of Bullhorn’s forthcoming product updates will merge popular features of the MaxHire and Sendouts offerings with Bullhorn.

The conference was well-attended by Bullhorn partners as well as customers. Fifteen Bullhorn Marketplace partners exhibited at Bullhorn Live. Monster sponsored the Bullhorn Live opening welcome reception on May 20th. The signature party of Bullhorn Live on May 21st at Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art was sponsored by Broadbean, Scout, and Talentwise.
