Vaco Chooses Bullhorn’s ATS, CRM, and Back Office Products to Improve Speed and Recruiting Insight

Bullhorn®, the global leader in recruiting software, today announced that Vaco – a conglomerate of accounting, financial, IT, and administrative consulting and recruiting firms – has chosen the Bullhorn ATS and CRM to streamline its recruiting processes and improve productivity across all 29 of its offices.  Vaco will use the Bullhorn applicant tracking system (ATS), recruiting CRM, and Bullhorn Back Office time and expense management solution to power its end-to-end recruiting processes for more than 300 users.

Vaco, which evaluated the latest release from existing solution Bond Adapt as well as solutions from eRecruit, SmartSearch and TalentRover, chose Bullhorn for the following primary reasons:

  • Bullhorn’s true cloud product offerings, which will give Vaco the advantage of rapid deployment, user access from anywhere, and lower long-term support and IT costs as they grow
  • The productivity gains seen by Bullhorn users, which have been proven to produce results such as increased placements for clients – on time and on budget
  • Bullhorn’s investment in product innovations such as multi-browser support, lightning-fast search, and an easy-to-use interface (more than $1 million per month into research and development)
  • Bullhorn’s high level of usage by Vaco’s peers in the recruiting and staffing industry, underscoring the value of its fast, user-friendly solutions

“Bullhorn’s significant investment into their technologies and cloud-based product line stood out in the ATS marketplace,” said Chris Cummings, Vaco’s CIO. “Coupling this with their proven ability to drive high end user adoption, we’re looking forward to a unified Vaco technology platform that encourages continuity and collaboration across our offices.”

Vaco hopes that standardizing on Bullhorn will help improve adoption of recruiting software within its network of 29 offices located across the United States. Unifying their operating branches under Bullhorn’s combined ATS/CRM will lead to an increase in efficiencies and visibility into the business on both a macro and micro level.

“The players at Vaco are so client, candidate, and consultant focused they’d find a way to serve them with an etch-a-sketch and an Atari 2600.  It is so exciting to arm these driven performers with the world class ATS/CRM system that Bullhorn provides.” said Jerry Bostelman, CEO of Vaco.  “It is also a great joy to partner with a company that shares Vaco’s entrepreneurial zeal, will to win, transparent communication, and commitment to collaborative solutions.”

Vaco’s recruiters will use Bullhorn’s S Release – the fastest version of the Bullhorn ATS and CRM ever built. With an emphasis on recruiters’ speed and productivity, Vaco anticipates that Bullhorn will help increase automation, reduce administrative time and interruptions as well as improve the bottom line for its producers.

“Vaco is experiencing incredible growth,” said Justin Teague, COO at Bullhorn. “Their ‘local ownership with national reach’ strategy has really paid off from both a client and candidate service perspective and a revenue generation standpoint. They’re looking for an enterprise partner that is built to last alongside them, and designed to scale as they grow. They have that with Bullhorn. No other partner in the market can offer the same peace of mind.”
