Curious what product updates and enhancements we’re launching in Bullhorn this month? Read on to explore the highlights of the May 2024 Bullhorn release and what it means for you. We roll our updates out in phases, so if you don’t see these changes reflected in Bullhorn yet, you can expect to see the following highlights in your instance by the end of the month. Updates to Bullhorn ATS & CRM

  • Resolved Canvas model issue: We have resolved an issue in the Canvas model that had caused intermittent errors preventing reports from running. Reports are now running successfully without intermittent model-related errors.  

Bullhorn Automation product updates

Bullhorn Automation

  • Route notifications to managers:  The “Reports To” field can now be utilised for Send Notification and Send Email steps in automations. This unlocks the ability to route notifications to managers, for example, notifying the recruiting manager if a candidate submits a low NPS rating regarding their recruitment experience.

Updates to Bullhorn Healthcare solutions

  • Dynamic credential match: Placement requirements are now auto-matched with existing candidate credentials, reducing the burden of time and effort for Compliance Specialists to manage requirements for onboarding and redeployment.

Updates to Data Replication

  • Admins user updates:
  • You can now set the duration for log file retention via the properties file. This reduces storage requirements with archived logs.
  • You can now set a parameter to enable Verbose logging within the startup process. This enables enhanced issue troubleshooting.

Updates to Bullhorn Onboarding solutions

Talent Platform

  • Updated navigational menu under the Onboarding tab: The Onboarding Dashboard has been simplified to provide the majority of relevant information in one location. The Onboarding Dashboard’s tiles can now be clicked to access and filter all information, giving clients a high-level view and allowing them to navigate onboarding workflows simply and intuitively.


  • Emails: This month, we introduced an unsubscribe option to emails, This feature improves user control and should lower spam complaints by making it simple for users to opt out and be added to our suppression list.
