April 2025 product updates and enhancements
Curious what product updates and enhancements we’re launching in Bullhorn this month? Read on to explore the highlights of the March 2025 Bullhorn release and what it means for you. We roll our updates out in phases, so if you don’t see these changes reflected in Bullhorn yet, you can expect to see the following highlights in your instance by the end of the month. Bullhorn Automation (Global)
- Enhanced distance filtering for AI Matching: Available now, we have updated our Auto-Match & Semantic Match services to allow customers the ability to not only filter on max distance but also set a minimum distance. In addition, we have also added support for customers to ignore distance altogether by allowing them to disable the distance filter.
- Greater flexibility: Recruiters can fine-tune match results by specifying both a minimum and maximum distance—or choose to ignore distance entirely.
- Remote & relocation support: Ideal for roles like remote jobs or travel nursing where location is flexible or secondary
Updates to Bullhorn ATS & CRM
- LinkedIn job status update button: Available now, we have introduced a LinkedIn Job Status button via action menu. Allows recruiters to manually check the LinkedIn Apply Connect sync status of any Job within Bullhorn ATS.
- Recent search selection should direct to criteria builder: Available now, when selecting a recent search from the Quick Search dropdown, you’ll be directed to the criteria builder instead of immediately launching the search. This change allows you to review and refine your search parameters before executing a saved search, giving you greater control and flexibility.
Bullhorn Analytics product updates
- Credentialing metrics: A standard set of Candidate and Placement credentialing metrics have been included as standard for Analytics Enterprise clients who are using Credentialing within ATS. These metrics give clients visibility and allow reporting on essential information with credentials for candidates, including tracking of expiring and expired credentials.
Product updates for Bullhorn VMS Sync
- Position list export: Available now, the Position List search results can now be exported in JSON or CSV format. The export is emailed to the requesting Admin Tools user. This is enabled for all users, allowing for large dataset analysis and decision-making.
Enhancements to Bullhorn Middle Office
Pay & Bill
- Customer required field limit removed from the company: The limit of 10 CRFs has been removed from the Company level and users can now add an unlimited number of CRFs, but the limit of 50 options per CRF remains. Users can still only add up to 10 CRFs at both the Job and Placement levels.
Time + Expense
- Alternate Shift Differential: A new Shift Differential method is now available for early access customers! This gives our customers an additional option for how to calculate and then display differentials on invoices. Once enabled in field maps, users will see two options when configuring shifts (Combined and Differential)
- Combined is the existing method for calculating differentials which supports combining the base rate and diff rate.
- Differential is the new alternate method which allows for the differential amount to be calculated separately using a unit-based earn code.
Updates to Bullhorn Onboarding solutions
Onboarding365
- Confirmation step added for document replacement in Onboarding365 integration with eRecruit: Available now, when replacing a document in the Onboarding365 integration with eRecruit, users must check a confirmation checkbox before proceeding. The “Yes” button remains disabled until the checkbox is selected, ensuring intentional action. Additional guidance is provided for the document sync process. Customers not using eRecruit will see no changes to their document replacement experience.
Talent Platform
- I-9 dashboard: Available now, I-9 Dashboard 2.0 now features an Activity Range selector in the top-left corner, enabling users to filter data by a date range of up to 120 days. This improvement enhances performance, making it easier to quickly access relevant information.
- Tax form updates: We have updated six 2025 US Tax Forms. For the full list, please visit the Product Release Portal.
