March 2025 product updates and enhancements
Curious what product updates and enhancements we’re launching in Bullhorn this month? Read on to explore the highlights of the March 2025 Bullhorn release and what it means for you. We roll our updates out in phases, so if you don’t see these changes reflected in Bullhorn yet, you can expect to see the following highlights in your instance by the end of the month. Bullhorn automation and AI agents enhancements
Bullhorn AI agents and automation
AI Assistant
- Conversational AI Assistant: AI Assistant is now conversational! The existing workflow has been moved from within the AI Assistant card to a slide out experience. There is a new AI Assistant button on Job and Candidate records, and a dismissable warning when you leave or start a conversation over.
AI Search & Match
- AI Search & Match improvements: Customers can now take advantage of AI Search & Match improvements. Previously, search queries connected keywords with “OR,” generating broader results that included candidates matching any of the terms. With this update, our AI Build service has been enhanced to refine keyword usage, ensuring that keywords are now connected by “AND.” This improvement delivers more precise search results by only including candidates who match all specified keywords.
Bullhorn Automation
- Score writeback to Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud: Available now, Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud customers can configure the Bullhorn Automation Score to write back to a custom field on their Candidate records in Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud which allows them to better identify the most engaged Candidates in their ATS.
Updates to Bullhorn ATS & CRM
- Novo candidate list is now generally available: We’re excited to announce that the Novo Candidate List is now generally available, bringing enhanced search capabilities and a more intuitive experience to your candidate database. With this update, you can confidently and efficiently search for records without dealing with complex interfaces. Clients can upgrade by submitting a support ticket. Later this year we will begin automatically upgrading clients.
Bullhorn Analytics product updates
- Metric editing: Available now, Enterprise Edition clients can now create new metrics based on Metric Types by navigating to Admin > Metrics > Edit Metrics, removing the need to always duplicate or inherit from an existing metric. Users can now control the aggregation options for existing and new metrics, selecting from options such as count, sum, min, average, etc. This update continues to allow our Analytics customers to make self-service changes in their environment without reliance on Support.
Product updates for Bullhorn VMS Sync
- Submittals attachment type filter: Available now, attachment type is now an alphabetized type ahead filter. This update lets users quickly find and assign a file type to an attachment.
Updates to Bullhorn Healthcare solutions
- Shift assignment list date filtering: Date filtering is now available for the Scheduled Start and End Time columns. This ensures a person scheduling shifts has the ability to efficiently find records for making revisions as needed.
Enhancements to Bullhorn Middle Office
Pay & Bill
- Customer required fields on Jobs: Generally available, Bullhorn One users can now assign Customer Required Fields to Jobs. Any CRF Meta and Options will automatically flow to Placements created from the Job.
Time + Expense
- Per diems on time clock placements: Available now for Bullhorn One customers, we now support the ability to calculate per diem rules on clock placements. The setup and configuration match the existing functionality for web time entry placements.

Onboarding365
- Tax form updates: We have updated 5 2025 US Tax Forms and 6 2025 Canadian TD1s. For the full list, please visit the Product Release Portal.
Talent Platform
- Tax form updates: We have updated eleven 2025 US Tax Forms. For the full list, please visit the Product Release Portal.
- E-Verify further action notice (FAN) process: We’ve streamlined the E-Verify Tentative Non-Confirmation (TNC) process by integrating the FAN workflow directly into Talent Platform. Recruiters can send the TNC FAN to candidates from the E-Verify details panel, eliminating the need for manual intervention outside Talent Platform. Candidates will receive a task in the candidate portal, allowing them to take action. The signed FAN will be accessible in workforce manager, ensuring clear audit tracking and compliance.
- Date formatting: Enhanced the workforce manager to support date formats based on customer location and user preferences, ensuring consistency in key areas of the platform. Users can now customize their date format through the Account settings in the upper right corner of the workforce manager. The system prioritizes the user’s selected format first, followed by the default format for their location, providing a seamless and regionally appropriate experience.
