Bullhorn Partners with Intuit to Strengthen Integration with QuickBooks

BOSTON, June 11, 2015 – ENGAGE 2015 CONFERENCE – Bullhorn®, the cloud-based CRM provider that puts powerful customer insights at users’ fingertips, today announced a partnership with Intuit to strengthen its integration with QuickBooks, the leading accounting software for small and medium-sized businesses. The direct integration will make accounting and bookkeeping easier for the many businesses that use both QuickBooks Online and the Bullhorn Back Office time and expense management solution.

With this integration, Intuit joins Bullhorn Marketplace, a partner community for industry-leading business applications that are pre-integrated to work seamlessly with Bullhorn and enhance the platform’s capabilities. Marketplace partners leverage the Bullhorn Platform’s open APIs to build scalable, secure and extensible integrations that are quick for customers to deploy. As a result, they can focus on growing their business instead of developing custom code that costs time and money, and doesn’t scale with business growth or application updates.

“Formalizing our relationship with Intuit and adding QuickBooks Online to Bullhorn Marketplace is another testament that our platform strategy is working and greatly benefiting our customers,” said Nina Eigerman, Bullhorn’s VP of Alliances and Business Development. “Now our joint customers can run their businesses better with a tight integration between the leading CRM platform for staffing and recruiting and the industry-leading QuickBooks offering, which is relied on by over 5 million customers worldwide.”

This product integration builds on previous QuickBooks integration capabilities developed by Bullhorn, and removes any need for customization or updates. All Bullhorn Back Office customers will now be able to integrate with QuickBooks for free by accessing the Bullhorn integration app in the QuickBooks app store or Bullhorn Marketplace.

“As a longtime leader in the staffing and recruiting market that’s making headwinds in other service-based industries with its CRM solution, an integration between QuickBooks Online and Bullhorn made perfect sense,” said Gretchen Salyer, Director of Partnerships at Intuit. “A large percentage of Bullhorn’s client base already uses QuickBooks, and as the company extends its reach we want to make sure our joint customers have an easy and seamless experience.”

Bullhorn Back Office provides staffing firms and other consultants with a means to automate manual, time-consuming activities by capturing workers’ time, generating invoices and/or paying commissions. As a cloud-based and mobile-friendly solution, it gives workers a convenient and easily accessible method for entering time so back office processes can be automated from start to finish, saving time on administrative tasks and removing the risk of manual errors. By integrating with QuickBooks, invoices generated or commissions paid through Bullhorn Back Office will sync automatically between the two systems.

Additional benefits of the integration include improved:

  • Automation: to put data entry and processing labor to better use
  • Client service: to make approvals easy and customize invoices
  • Precision: to eliminate billing and payroll mistakes
  • Speed: to accelerate time collection and payment processing

The app for integrating Bullhorn Back Office and QuickBooks Online will be available through Bullhorn Marketplace and the QuickBooks app store later this summer.
