Bullhorn Sees Record Attendance for Engage 2015 Staffing and Recruiting Innovation Conference

BOSTON, July 8, 2015Bullhorn®, the cloud-based CRM provider that puts powerful customer insights at users’ fingertips, hosted more than 550 staffing and recruiting professionals from around the world for Engage 2015, Bullhorn’s annual industry conference on engaging with customers, talent, and employees, held in Boston, MA, June 10-12.  This year’s event was the largest such conference in the company’s history and featured thought-provoking keynotes and sessions from notable industry thought leaders and Bullhorn executives. Key trends and takeaways from the sold-out event included building bold strategies to engage with multiple audiences in today’s “on-demand economy,” actionable ways firms can differentiate to win, and how to best meet the challenging demands of a rapidly-changing workforce.

Engage 2015 served content across four tracks that addressed topics vital to the success of firms in the staffing and recruiting industry: engaging clients, engaging customers, engaging employees, and how firms must differentiate themselves to win.  For each track, CEOs, functional leaders, and industry experts led sessions that provided actionable insights into ways that staffing and recruiting firms can better leverage their CRM tools to grow their businesses. More information on these sessions, including videos, can be found at https://www.bullhorn.com/engage/recaplanding-page.

“This was, without a doubt, the most exciting and inspiring conference that we’ve run to-date,” said Art Papas, founder and CEO of Bullhorn. “The most successful staffing and recruiting firms are embracing a new way of doing business, developing more personal and proactive relationships with their customers, talent, and employees.  Doing so effectively requires sorting through the sea of data available on your contacts, anticipating customer needs, and tailoring the method of engagement to meet those needs. Those that rise to the challenge will emerge as the leaders in an increasingly dynamic labor economy.”

“With the staffing industry ripe for a huge disruption, those of us who work in this industry owe it to ourselves to seek out events that actually educate and prepare us to tackle the challenges of the future,” said Justin Thomason, regional director of recruiting for MATRIX. “Engage is an incredibly valuable conference because it brings thought leaders, luminaries, renowned speakers, and technologists together to take action – not just to pontificate. Bullhorn continues to be the best CRM on the market for recruiting and prospecting, and its vested interest in moving the industry forward via the Engage conference ends up helping all of us. It’s the only conference of its kind.”

Keynote Highlights

  • Art Papas kicked off the conference with a vision for how companies can excel with the advent of the majority-Millennial workforce and the ensuing sea change in the way talent is attracted and retained.
  • Joanie Courtney, SVP of global market insights, Monster Worldwide, shared her expertise on today’s worldwide labor market, from the enormous and immediate need to fill nursing positions to how the on-demand economy is driving the future of work.
  • Ryan Estis, business performance expert and notable keynote speaker, inspired a standing ovation following his keynote on how to brand the customer experience.

Bullhorn Connect sessions featured live product demonstrations and highlighted many newly-added and forthcoming features of the Bullhorn CRM platform. Key among these were Bullhorn’s newest feature, Pulse, which leverages the company’s patented email tracking system to automatically mine communications, analyze them in real time, and provide valuable, digestible customer intelligence at a glance.

The future direction of the Bullhorn platform was manifest during the exciting Innovation Throwdown, where attendees were presented with concept-stage ideas from Bullhorn’s software development team and were able to vote on the ones they felt were most vital to their business. For example, attendees were presented with a feature that could soon integrate telephony into Bullhorn’s CRM platform.
