April 2024 product updates and enhancements
Curious what product updates and enhancements we’re launching in Bullhorn this month? Read on to explore the highlights of the April 2024 Bullhorn release and what it means for you. We roll our updates out in phases, so if you don’t see these changes reflected in Bullhorn yet, you can expect to see the following highlights in your instance by the end of the month. Updates to Bullhorn Copilot
- Copilot Generative Candidate Card: The Copilot Generative Candidate Card integrates with Azure & OpenAI and can generate email messages, screening questions, improve resumes, and much more by pulling selected data from the candidate record.
- Copilot Admin Page: A Copilot Admin page has been added so that Bullhorn Admin users can configure the integration between Bullhorn and their LLM (Large Language Model). The configuration will initially support OpenAI and Azure LLMs.
Updates to Bullhorn ATS & CRM
- SEEK integration: We made an update to improve the visibility of Candidates’ Questionnaire responses. This streamlines the review process, allowing you to access essential questionnaire notes conveniently without navigating away from the Submission List view under the Candidate Notes tab.
- Security update for May release: Since Bullhorn prioritizes the security of our products and our customers, we are applying updated security measures across our offerings. A key security enhancement in our 2024.5 May release restricts the ability to accept HTML into our free text fields. If this change impacts any existing automations or customizations you have, we encourage you to contact Bullhorn support for assistance with any questions you may have.
Bullhorn Automation product updates
- WCAG enhancements for chat engagements: Chats have been enhanced based on compliance best practices, ensuring accessible use of these functions by a broader range of survey recipients. For example, chats can now be completed by users who need screen readers or require keyboard-only navigation.
Updates to Bullhorn Healthcare solutions
- Mass delete option on the Placement Certifications Tab: As a compliance specialist, you can now select and delete multiple Placement Certifications at once on the Requirements Checklist slideout. Deleting multiple requirements at once saves you time and simplifies the deletion process.

Enhancements to Bullhorn’s Pay & Bill functionality
Time & Labor engine enhancements
- Time and Labor Evaluation now supports Work from Home: The Time and Labor Rules Engine can now recognize placements set as Work from Home and apply the appropriate state-specific rules to evaluate overtime for candidates who work from home. Overtime (OT) and Doubletime (DT) calculations are now correctly based on the state in which a Work from Home Placement lives rather than the state of the placement’s location.
- Timesheet Transactions Tab Update: The Source, User, and Date Last Modified columns are now available on the Pay and Bill Transactions tabs within the Timesheet Record. This allows payroll admins to see details about manual transactions to be able to troubleshoot easily if necessary.
Updates to Bullhorn Onboarding solutions
Talent Platform
- Order workflow enhancements: We have streamlined the onboarding processes for clients by automating the recognition of previously completed forms by candidates. Recruiters gain visibility into completed forms and can easily delete previously completed forms from packages. Admins can designate certain forms to always be sent, even when previously completed by a candidate. These changes enhance the overall efficiency and customization of the onboarding workflow.
Onboarding365
- I-9: Agency Administrators can now increase I-9 compliance across all office locations by enabling the I-9 Alternative Procedure setting.
- I-9: HR Managers, HR Associates, and Compliance Representatives can now filter the I-9 Dashboard by the Alternative Procedure checkbox to ensure the efficient review of forms and supporting documents to maintain accuracy and compliance.
